We list our basic beliefs here so that readers can understand the perspective from which we write.
There is only one true God, creator of all things, holy, infinite, eternal, loving unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; equal in divine perfection.
The Bible is the inspired word of God, given to us for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. The Bible is the complete revelation of God's will for salvation.
The Son, Jesus Christ, is God, the living Word who became incarnate (flesh) through the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin, Mary. Jesus Christ is fully human and fully divine in one person, forever.
Jesus, Israel's promised Messiah, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is with the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
Jesus voluntarily gave his life so that we could be reconciled to God. For all who trust in Jesus Christ, His death on the cross atoned for our sins, redeemed us, justified us, and freed us from captivity to sin.
Jesus lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit convicts people of their sinfulness, draws people to Jesus Christ, dwells in those who have been born again in Jesus Christ, illuminates, guides, and equips believers for Christ-like living.
The Holy Spirit gives believers wisdom and power to boldly witness to the Gospel.
The Church is made up of all people who truly trust in and follow Jesus Christ.
Jesus will return again to the earth and the dead will be resurrected.
Jesus will judge all people and separate the saved from the lost. Those who trust in Jesus will live in eternal joy with God, but those who refuse Jesus will be separated out forever.
